Manager Engineering Operations Tigerair

What is the role?

Our Engineering team have an opportunity for a Manager, Engineering Operations to play a key part in setting a clear overall business and operating strategy and providing technical leadership to the maintenance department.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role effectively leads, motivates and develops the Maintenance Control Centre, Line Planning and Material Personnel teams to reach key performance indicators and ensure departmental compliance.

What are we looking for?

To ensure success in this role you will the following experience;

* Leading complex and dynamic teams

* Developing and implementing business and operational strategy

* Hold or have held, an aircraft engineer licence in category B1, B2, or C;

* Relevant aircraft maintenance qualification at Diploma level

* Have an engineering qualification at least diploma level in any of the following disciplines: Aeronautical, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics;

* Managing a maintenance repair organisation (MRO) which includes oversight of A320 and B737 operation and continuing airworthiness management of aircraft

You will also have extensive knowledge in:

* Aviation regulatory compliance applicable to airworthiness of aircraft

* The aircraft’s structure and systems to Level 1 equivalent as set out in Appendix III of the Part 66 MOS

* The aircraft’s minimum equipment list (MEL) and configuration deviation list (CDL)

* Relevant parts of the AOC holder’s operations manual that have continuing airworthiness implications for the aircraft

* Quality control systems
