Manager Airworthiness Deputy CAM

Tigerair Australia operates 15 aircrafts, flying to 13 domestic destinations, with around 500 flights per week.

What is the role:

The Manager Airworthiness / Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager, (CAM), is responsible for ensuring that the CAMO complies with CASR Part 42 regulations, the CASR Part 42 Manual of Standards (MOS) and the Tigerair CAMO exposition in relation to providing continued Airworthiness Management services for the aircraft authorised to operate under the AOC.

Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) the Deputy CAM ensures compliance of all airworthiness matters of continuing airworthiness management.

The key areas of this role include:

* Identify and communicate the airworthiness standards that support aviation safety

* Assure the regular audits of CAMO activities are conducted and any findings accurately recorded

* Take appropriative corrective and preventative actions to address CAMO performance

* Oversight of maintenance and reliability programmes

* Complete major defects/ report analysis

* Development of continues airworthiness systems including the entry into the service requirements of aircraft

* Regularly monitor the outputs from the CAMO to ensure continued compliance with Tigerair Exposition

What are we looking for?

To be our successful applicant you will be able to demonstrate:

* A qualification in aircraft management

* An engineering qualification (at least diploma level)

* Minimum 3 years current experience in continuing airworthiness management of aircraft

* Extensive knowledge in regulations and standards applicable to airworthiness management, structure and systems and background in quality control systems.

* Excellent attention to detail

* Effective leadership skills and capable of team building and motivating

* Excellent communication skills
