An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual to join the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) as a Maintenance Program Officer in Sydney. This role is a full-time permanent position.
The Regional Express CAMO is responsible for the continuing airworthiness requirements of the Rex Group aircraft fleets which include turboprop, jet and piston aircraft fleets.
The Maintenance Program Officers role is to maintain the fleet maintenance programs to ensure they are compliant and meeting the requirements of the organisation.
Reporting
This position reports to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager.
Position Responsibility
•Review the fleet maintenance programs for compliance against the OEM and regulatory requirements,
•Review and implement variations to maintenance programs based on OEM and regulatory requirements,
•Review and implement variations to maintenance programs based on maintenance requirements resulting from STC’s, Engineering Orders and other company requirements,
•Perform additional duties as they arise through operational and organisational requirements.
Essential Selection Criteria
•Conversant with the Rex Group aircraft operation.
•Understanding of CASR Part 42 Regulations relating to maintenance programs.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel).
•Ability to work unsupervised.
Preferred Selection Criteria
•Have some working knowledge of Rex Group aircraft maintenance programs.
•Have a basic understanding of aircraft maintenance requirements.
•Working knowledge of the I.A.S. computer system.
