The Maintenance Operations Coordinator’s role is to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day technical support to the Norwegian Group aircraft fleet.

Job description

Coordinate and follow-up unscheduled maintenance events for the Norwegian aircraft fleet.

• Plan, coordinate and follow-up unscheduled maintenance events and AOG aircraft recovery.

• Liaise and support Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC), flight crews, MROs and other external suppliers.

• Evaluate deferred defect, MELs and follow-up of technical delays.

• Proactive management of all technical issues that could impact the operation, including prioritisation of events to ensure the best possible availability of the fleet.

• In addition, outside normal office hours, the Maintenance Operations Coordinator will perform the following tasks:

 - Monitor emergency AD notes

 - Monitor and adjust maintenance plan (track aircraft rotation, reassessment of plan and evaluation of deviations).

 - Point of contact for customers contracted MROs

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Planning Manager.

Miscellaneous info:

Shift work, supporting operation 24/7.

Qualifications

• EASA Part66 AML CAT A/B1/B2 or a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline (minimum formal requirement is B.Sc.).

• Background and technical knowledge on Boeing aircraft (Level III type rating on 737 / 787 is highly preferred).

• Working experience in a Maintrol function or in a line maintenance environment.

• Proficient experience working with AMOS. Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).

• Preferable knowledge of aviation regulation, especially EASA Part M and Part-145.

• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English, in addition preferably a Scandinavian language.
