TAA are delighted to support their local client with a role as Maintenance Control Engineer.

As a Maintenance Control Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that aircraft operated fleet are maintained in compliance with all regulatory requirements. 
You are responsible for monitoring aircraft, initiating, and overseeing maintenance events to ensure aircraft are returned to service in a timely and effective manner. 
In an executive capacity, the Maintenance Control Engineer supervises the maintenance and/or alteration of the operated aircraft. As the delegate of the businesses Technical Director, you will execute certain designated functions and be required to make decisions supporting the business and client requirements. 
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all company policies as outlined in the Continued Airworthiness Management Exposition “CAME”. 

Ensure all out-of-service for maintenance aircraft are repaired in a timely manner. 
Proactively seek to maintain the aircraft availability and reduce impact of maintenance to operations. 
Assign maintenance personnel, including vendors, the correct performance of aircraft repairs and overseeing repair efforts as well as maintaining communication on repair status. 
Co-ordinate and issue work packages for scheduled, unscheduled, and Line Maintenance. 
Coordinate with maintenance vendors to plan, execute, oversee, and document maintenance events. 
Ensure all departments affected by a grounded aircraft are aware of the status of the aircraft. 
Review aircraft records and tracking to ensure compliance with maintenance programs. 
Work harmoniously with Maintenance Leadership, Flight Operations, maintenance vendors, and all operational entities and personnel. 
Ensure proper documentation of the work performed on aircraft prior to approval of the aircraft for return-to-service 
Ensure required aircraft parts are obtained through support programs where possible and shipped in a timely manner. 
Control and work within financial approval limits and take opportunities to save clients’ cost through better planning and application of experience. 

LICENSES/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 

Minimum of 5 years in similar position supporting the co-ordination or repair and maintenance within a business aviation operation. 
Aviation Engineering based qualification e.g Degree, Maintenance License. 
In depth knowledge and experience in systems and troubleshooting maintenance either as a Licensed Engineer or experienced non-certifying staff with training on one or more of the following manufacturers aircraft types;

Hours: Full time Hours (40 hours per week) to begin with which will move to a shift pattern (4 on 4 off) in due course
