FUNCTION:
Perform a variety of duties such as maintaining grounds and garage, removal of chips, waste material, and cleaning functions while practicing and complying with environmental, health and safety directions and procedures.
DUTIES:
* Operate various equipment such as mowers, trucks , power sweepers, floor washer, snow blowers and tractors, forklift trucks, payloaders, backhoe and other related equipment.
* Perform various cleaning duties throughout factory and office areas; dispense bathroom supplies.
* Remove and segregate chips, waste and recyclable material located throughout the plant. Weigh containers and affix identifying labels.
* Perform minor maintenance on company equipment and motor vehicles such as cleaning, checking batteries, tires, water, oil, and gas.
* Working from instructions, post directional and control signs, paint walks and lines on roads and lots, repair fences, dig trenches, lay drain pipes and catch basins, and other related tasks.
* Mow and rake lawns, trim shrubs and trees, and operate lawn irrigation systems.
* Improve process and solve problems in cooperation with fellow employees and technical support group.
* Instruct one or two fellow employees in the proper performance of duties
* Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
* Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.
