Responsibilities: Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as OD/ID Grinders, Spur Gear Grinders, CNC Lathes and Mills to make aerospace parts to sketch and print. Uses a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments, analytical gear checker; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling. Will monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or VIP.

Triumph Geared Solutions, located in Park City, UT brings over 60 years of experience in the design, manufacturer, build, test and repair of gear box and actuation systems for both commercial and military aircraft. Triumph Geared Solutions is seeking a Machinist to join our team.



Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as OD/ID Grinders, Spur Gear Grinders to make aerospace parts to sketch and print. Uses a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments, analytical gear checker; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling. Will monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or VIP. * Completion of a formal apprenticeship * 5 plus years’ experience. * Mathematical Skills * Mechanical Skills * Detail Oriented * Time Management Skills * Ability to read and interpret blueprints * Knowledge of technical functions * Knowledge of computer skills * Ability to work well within a team as well as individually * Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
