Our Aircraft Group is seeking a Machine Repair Technician 3!

In this role, we would like you to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of machinery and equipment operation, maintenance, and repair. This includes: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computer control systems.

This is what your day will look like…

· Effectively and safely troubleshoot and repair complex machinery in a team or single worker environment, this includes extremely precise alignments in multiple planes on advanced equipment in often awkward ergonomic positions.

· Perform various machine maintenance related tasks, including but not limited to: complex CNC repairs, machine installations, preventive and predictive maintenance, material handling, rigging, forklift operation, drum and hazardous waste handling.

· Support Moog East Aurora production requirements; work to maintain and repair machinery in and effective and timely manner.

· Utilize the Maximo system; effectively document work logs, inventory usage, and hours worked

· Maintain personal PC related skills as new software is released and implemented.

· Stay current with new machine technologies by participating in OEM and other training as required

· Travel both domestically and internationally to support new or potential machine acquisitions and training

*Must follow all applicable safety standards, including but not limited to Lock-Out Tag-Out, NFPA 70E, and Hazardous Material Handling.

We would like for you to meet the following education and experience requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent, required; Associates Degree in Electrical Technologies or related skilled-trades degree highly desired.

· Three years, minimum, repairing CNC Machine tools as a primary occupation

· Experience as a repair technician, machinist, or other skilled-trades related experience as well as some CNC repair experience

· Experience as a Machine Repair Technician Level 2 is desired.

· Industrial Automation experience is also highly desirable.

· Solid communication skills

For this opening you will train on 1st shift, but you must be available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift to be eligible for the position.
