Logistics Tech

UTC Aerospace Systems is a global leader in the design and manufacture of ISR products for civil, commercial and military applications, with a broad portfolio of ground-based, airborne and space-based systems. Pomona, CA is seeking a Logistics Technician who will support the shipping and stock room.

Core Responsibilities:

* Receive, store, issue, and account for materials, supplies, and equipment.
* Ensure work is accomplished with high quality, in a timely fashion.
* Support stock room team

Qualification: • 1-2 years of Shipping and Receiving experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• The ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office, shipping carrier manifest software FedEx, UPS, DHL and LTL Carriers and labeling.
• Experience using an ERP, SAP experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently and accurately complete data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail in order to ensure safety and quality.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work in a team to support work capacity in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing, navigating screens and learning new
• software programs.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to take direction from more experienced co-workers, leads, and supervisors
• Hazmat experience a plus
• Forklift experience
• Must be a US Person.
No relocation budgeted for this position
Education:
* Requires High School Diploma or equivalent w/1-2 years of related experience in shipping and receiving
* AA a plus with 1-2 years exp in related field
