Logistics Specialists

STS Technical Services is hiring Logistics Specialists in Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Job Duties:

* Moving product and assisting with housekeeping duties

* Assist with runner duties as needed (delivery and pick up of product from other buildings on PF campus)

* Ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely and warehouse space is used efficiently

* Receive incoming material into stock, complete order filling activities, stock replenishment, distribution, cycle counts, and shipping of products, as well as timely reporting/documentation of completed shipments or material/parts issued

* Perform cycle counts without supervision

* Gather, verify, and wrap & pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used

* Appropriately label container/item to be shipped with appropriate identification

* Record received and shipped items according to established procedures

* Ensure supply of raw materials, parts and components to production areas according to established guidelines without assistance

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent required

* Must be able to lift 25 lbs Ability to remain on feet as needed for duration of shift

* Previous experience or understanding of shipping/warehouse or inventory (up to 1 year)

* Additional experience may be a plus

* Must be detail oriented

* Must be an action-oriented team player with a positive outlook and strong multitasking skills
