Job Description
A role exists to provide support within the Procurement and Logistics Team - US Programmes - Airframe Supply Chain
The support required will be administrative tasks to the Supplier Facing teams discharging activities such as P/O cleanse, issuing RFQs, Raising P/os, query resolution and invoice management
- Liaise with the Buyer, Orderbook Planner and appropriate Operations personnel to escalate and resolve workability issues
- Support weekly workload reviews to understand capacity issues
- Release all orders in line with schedule or to ensure resource optimisation whilst adhering to customer requirement dates.
- Monitor the progression of all released orders and support the resolution of issues as appropriate
- Plan/Replan based on feedback from the Capacity Planner and Expeditor
- Regularly liaise with suppliers to understand issues/shortages likely to impact the timely release of orders
Provision all materiels to support the discharge of the Work To List
- Support Operational Delivery Reviews across area of responsibility
- Update the MRP System to reflect scrap/loss during Production
- Regularly liaise with the Capacity Planner and Scheduler to ensure operational issues impacting delivery of the plan are understood and resolved
- Facilitate the physical progression of product through the Manufacturing process
- scrap orders ( then inform planner to re plan), spilit batches and alter order quantities pre launch.
- Manage / run / co-ordinate hold code reviews
- Manage Assist4 ensuring all exported parts are on the system
- Ensure that any tooling movement is appropriately captured in the appropriate system (e.g. EAM)
