In your role, you will:

- Oversee the development and execution of all start up logistics activities for an on-site distribution center located within a supplier facility including warehousing requirements; kit marshaling activities; materials flow and inventory management procedures.
- Act as the prime liaison between the External Supplier and the FAL Supply Logistics team.
- Ensure the timely reception/safeguard of inbound subcontract materials and control the distribution to their designated production line usage points.
- Interpret and analyze the material requirements and forecasted manufacturing plan and identify/maintain shortage visibility, Logistics KPIs, Visual Board and governance presentations reports for cross functional departments within operations.
- Attend Operations management team DMMs to report/escalate issues
- Support the Andon plan as it pertains to the expedition of replenishment inventories to support the production plan.
- Be responsible for all reverse logistics as it pertains to the quarantine of documented non-conformance inventories and the timely disposition of their end usage.
- Ensure all outbound inventories are processed in a timely manner as it pertains to the return of obsolete or inventories requiring outside processing/rework.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You possess a post-secondary degree/diploma with at least (3-5) years of work experience in the field of Logistics and Operations management in a manufacturing environment.
- You have experience working with computerized enterprise resource planning software and inventory management databases. Preference may be given to candidates who have SAP experience.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Preference may be given to candidates who have an intermediate to advanced experience level.
- You have a High-level customer oriented approach with the desire to provide excellent service
- You must take a positive approach to issues which set an example for the organization
- You must be able to work independently with a proactive, results oriented and innovative style with a view to continuous business improvement, demonstrating ethics, good judgment and professionalism
- You have strong communication and presentation skills with the capacity to work well with people at all levels of the organization
- French is an asset
