WE ARE LOOKING FOR A
Logistics Analyst
We are searching for a driven logistics analyst to join our Operational Excellence team within Product & Services. At Product & Services, we make time matter for our customers by managing our offering onboard and onground. We also develop and manage our commercial concepts to secure new revenue streams. The aim is to maximize SAS total profitability by securing the most attractive offering, valued by the customers and efficient to produce. We also drive operational excellence through continuous improvement work.
We are looking for a logistics analyst that can support the business through creating insights from the data that we have in our back-end catering system, IFX. This system is under the final stages of roll-out and we see a great opportunity to work with data from the system to develop our business within Product & Services as well as cross-functional within SAS. The goal is to use this system to optimise SAS products and services and enable SAS to keep providing excellence to our customers.
Some of your main responsibilities:
* Enhance product performance by determining and reducing inefficiencies that might consume profits
- Analyse data from catering system and other relevant systems
- Build and maintain prescriptive and predictive dashboards and models
* Present results in internal and external forums
- Visualize and communicate results and recommendations
* Execute on analytical insights
- Revise standard operating procedures for catering processes
* Help drive future development of catering system
- Investigate further possibilities to integrate data with other parts of SAS business
Experience we consider meriting:
* M. Sc. in Engineering, Supply Chain management or Business administration
* Logistics, supply chain analysis or resource planning
* Querying and working with databases
* Analysis in a statistical software, such as SAS or similar
* Result visualization and presentation
As a person you are passionate about supporting and working in a data driven culture. You have a strong analytical skill-set, high personal drive and positive attitude. Further you are creative, open-minded, and enthusiastic about creating new opportunities. Your communicating and presentation skills (both written and verbal) are excellent. In addition, you are a business oriented team player with strong executing skills. Attention to details and accuracy comes naturally for you.
The position will be based in Stockholm at our head office in Frösundavik. You must be authorized to work within EU. For this position, SAS will not sponsor any work authorization. About our Head Office
Frösundavik is a great place to work. There is a gym, restaurant, café and a variety of services to make your life easier. It’s located in a green area of Solna and close to Hagaparken and Brunnsviken. There’s a non-stop bus connection from the Central Station to Frösunda and commuter trains to/from Solna Station. There is a free shuttle bus from Solna station to the office. Of course, cycling is another option and many of us enjoy the scenic route to the office every day.
