Job description

Track, oversee and maintain accountability and compliance of all planned maintenance requirements regulated by the maintenance specification and other source documents for the Norwegian Boeing 737NG, 737MAX and 787 fleet.

Review planned maintenance requirements to ensure that all airworthiness activities on the company’s aircraft, component and equipment are planned and ordered to be performed within due time.

• Issue work packs on the 737NG fleet in order to accomplish inspection, modifications, repairs and overhaul. Forward short-term planning information to the Part-145 organisation(s) on a scheduled frequency.

• Review and planning of defects.

• Communicate with MROs to ensure that all maintenance activities are in line with the defined maintenance plan.

• Based on the maintenance plan, verify in co-operation with logistic that materials, components and tools required for scheduled maintenance work are ordered as required.

• Follow up material plans for open defects on incoming aircraft.

• Ensure that record and documentation are completed and updated in the company´s maintenance management system (AMOS).

• Review performed work to make sure that all planned maintenance and deferred defect are taken care of.

• Optimize planned work performed by all MROs. This includes traffic planning (aircraft rotation), coordinated with Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC), to assure cost efficient maintenance.

• Review and reassess planned work as required.

• Evaluate all deviations from work scope.

• Ensure that all airworthiness activities on the company´s aircraft, components and equipment are planned and ordered to be performed within due time.

• Identify and adjust scheduled maintenance events to support an on-time departure while maintaining a safe and reliable product.

• Coordinate planning and AC rotations with Boeing GoldCare on the 737MAX and 787 fleet.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Maintenance Planning.

Miscellaneous info:

Working hours: Two-shift pattern (07.00 – 22:00), Monday through Sunday.

Travel: Some travelling must be expected.

Qualifications

• An Engineering Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or relevant experience from aircraft engineering, planning and maintenance.

• Strong background and technical knowledge on aircraft operated by the Norwegian Group is highly preferred.

• Experience in managing aircraft fleet and maintenance scheduling.

• Flight Operations knowledge is preferred.

• Proficient in use of Flight Operations Software (Netline), maintenance follow-up software (AMOS) and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

• Preferable knowledge of aviation regulation, especially EASA Part M and Part-145.

• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English, in addition preferably a Scandinavian language.
