Principal accountabilities & Responsibilities:
*
Ensures that all maintenance performed is to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant approved technical maintenance data.
*
Maintains a FOD free working area and cleans up bay area before and after work.
*
Ensures that maximum attention is given to the On Time Performance of the company.
*
Ensures all maintenance performed on designated aircraft is coordinated and complete overview is maintained.
*
Provides guidance and assistance to all maintenance personnel to maintain safe and effective working practices.
*
Ensures all aircraft documentation is completed accurately with applicable maintenance data references and in a timely manner.
*
Ensures that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the completed appropriate Tag attached. The “unserviceable” part of the tag should state the ECAM /EICAS warning, CMS/CFDS maintenance message or Fault code etc.
*
Develops and coaches junior staff in all aspects of aircraft maintenance.
*
Behaves in a manner which reflects a professional approach when dealing with employees, other Safi departments or customers.
*
As appropriate, wears equipment provided by the company for health and safety reasons and corporate image.
*
To perform Pre-flight check and routine checks.
*
To perform any task assigned to him by the Maintenance Manager.

To release aircraft to service
