Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1)

Pel-Air Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Regional Express (Rex), Australia’s largest independent regional airline operating a fleet of more than 50 Saab 340 aircraft on some 1,500 weekly flights to 60 destinations throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.

Pel-Air is recruiting a B1 LAME to help maintain a fleet of King Air B200 ProLine 21 equipped aircraft for the Victorian Air Ambulance Contract based out of Essendon Airport.

Reporting
This position reports to the Senior Base Engineer.

Essential Selection Criteria
•A minimum of eight years aircraft maintenance experience and preferably with King Air type experience.
•Preferably with SAAB340 experience will be an added advantage
•B1.1 licence with privileges that cover airframes categories including hydraulics, pressurisation and air-conditioning and engines PT6 series.
•B1 Electrical exclusion removal an advantage.
•Must be available for shift work
