Monarch Engineering; Line Maintenance provider of the year 2017; are in their 50th year.  We are a dedicated and customer focused company who are looking for a Licenced Engineers to join our Birmingham Line Maintenance Team

As Licenced Engineer you will be responsible for assisting the Shift Leader in overseeing and controlling all Line maintenance activities at the station.

You will also supervise and delegate personnel as the situation demands to ensure the smooth running of the line station to meet all the Part 145 maintenance requirements in accordance with the line maintenance processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to health & Safety procedures
  • Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limits of their company approvals. When required supervise line maintenance activities to ensure all planned and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished
  • Ensure the Line maintenance department policies and procedures are adhered to
  • At the start and end of each Shift ensure a handover is carried out verbally and by the utilization of the AMOS Event tracking log.
  • Using AMOS, order spares to meet work requirements, complete associated paperwork for unserviceable components and record all maintenance activity performed with accurate man-hour bookings.

Knowledge:

  • Must have extensive knowledge of Line Maintenance activities

Skills:

  • Must be able to motivate and Lead a team of Engineers to meet the operational requirements
  • AMOS Experience
  • Microsoft Office experience

Experience/Education: (This is critical for these current vacancies)

  • Must have a Full EASA B1 or B2 Licence with Type approval on A320/321, CFM56, Dash8, Q400, Embraer 175/190, B757, B777, B787 or A380
  • Must have at a few years’ experience as a Licenced Technician
  • Proven supervisory experience is required
