Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

* Perform day-to-day management of assigned projects that involve teams of engineers, logicians, and management professionals.
* Involved in analyzing, determining function requirements, designing, integrating, training, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining complex maintenance IT and logistics systems.
* Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all activities associated with assigned tasks or projects.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

* Must demonstrate executive/flag level written and oral communication skills. Must have experience with leadership of key phases of engineering projects, demonstrated ability to lead projects across several functional areas including the use of different technologies.
* Must have expertise in understanding program requirements of the types of tasks to be performed, ability to review and evaluate all work performed, and ensure compliance with all management policies
* At least twelve (12) years of recent experience in multiple Naval Maritime Maintenance and Logistic IT systems including their associated systems, interfaces, processes and functional requirements.
* Minimum of three (3) years must be as a supervisor for an enterprise information technology system or software within maritime maintenance and logistics systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and/or systems supportability disciplines.
* Must fully understand the Navy’s Maritime Maintenance and Logistics IT Enterprise long term strategy and goals and be able to facilitate their execution by transitioning the navy’s legacy systems and processes into industry “Best in Breed” COTS solutions.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) years of General Experience, eight (8) years must be of recent Specific Experience.
* Master’s Degree with eight (8) years of General Experience, five (5) years must be of recent Specific Experience
