Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems for space within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.

Serve as PAPM supporting one or more space flight project ensuring quality and system assurance requirements are defined and implemented, and are in compliance with sponsor and applicable requirements;

Direct and/or perform software quality, supplier management, configuration management, inspection, audits, and other mission assurance activities on assigned projects;

Review project-specific plans and technical documentation to ensure compliance with contractual and institutional mission assurance requirements.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

* A minimum of 8 years overall engineering experience, preferably in a similar environment
* Eligible for ITAR security clearance

WE VALUE

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another technical discipline
* Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering or another technical discipline
* Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to influence and provide leadership with focus on product quality and compliance
* Ability to make decisions to positively impact the operations
* Understanding business metrics and how to impact results
* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate project status and program needs across different levels of the organization and different operating environments
* Strong people management skills including coaching and mentoring within a high performance team
* Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers and suppliers at all organizational levels
* Results oriented, self-motivated and structured problem-solving approach
* Experience in Quality, Lean and Six Sigma processes
* Experience with RCCA tools such as Corrective Action Mistake Proofing (CAMP), 8D, Fishbone, TMAPs or other Six Sigma tools
* Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 standards
* Demonstrated knowledge of quality tools such as eCATs, CAMP, RCCA, SAP, etc.
* Knowledge, skill and experience with a wide range of product disciplines such as Optical, Mechanical and Electrical components and systems
* Direct experience with optical, mechanical or electrical design, assembly or test activities
