We have an exciting opportunity for a lead quality assurance engineer to join a world class provider of advanced solutions for both defence and aerospace.
As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer you will manage all aspects of Quality as they relate to the business. This includes quality procedures, processes, programs, and practices to assure the continuous conformance with appropriate standards and regulations.
Your main responsibilities will include;
- Oversee the continued implementation and improvement of the Quality System
- Report on the performance of the system and promote awareness of customer requirements
- Provide support as Quality lead on design and development contracts
- Review Non-conformance data ensuring these are documented properly
- Analyse returns data to identify failure trends and quality issues and prepare the associated statistical reports for management to act upon.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineers as well as a formal quality assurance qualification. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EAS part 21G requirements are also essential for the role.
