About us:

Crew Planning Services is responsible for the short to long-term planning for Flight and Cabin Crew for our regional, domestic, short and long haul international operations. Our department comprises of a dedicated team of crew analysts, crew training planners and crew roster planners responsible for the provision, advice and delivery of aircrew rosters and to support the coordination and planning of crew training requirements.

We are now embarking on the next exciting steps of our journey and our team is evolving. This is a great opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to support the team as we go through a series of changes to better support our work groups and offer greater operational efficiency and effectiveness. To deliver this, we have created two new lead opportunities:

* Lead Crew Analyst – Short Term

* Lead Crew Analyst – Long Term

About the roles:

The Lead Crew Analysts will partner with various stakeholders across the business to develop workforce solutions that support our diverse business requirements. These are integral roles that maintain the delicate balance of resources required across our airline groups to effectively and efficiently operate the flight schedule, leave planning, recruitment, budget and reporting.

You will be the ‘go to’ person for any technical support on all crew analytical activities and be able to influence strategic decisions of senior stakeholders by gathering, analysing and presenting data.

A day’s work might also involve;

* Supervision of the team’s technical capabilities, providing leadership and technical expertise

* Detailed analysis and reporting of Pairing Solutions, trends, ‘what if’ scenarios and new initiatives

* Monitoring costs, utilisation, fatigue management and lifestyle balance

* Championing better by identifying process improvements and recommending solutions

* Forward planning, pairing production and publication of optimized efficient, productive and compliant crew solutions

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will bring;

* Expertise in resource management systems and optimisation tools i.e. KRONOS Pairings and MS Office in particular, Excel and PowerPoint

* Experience using resource planning processes, theories and methodologies

* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and an ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems

* Demonstrated analytical skills and use of statistical analysis tools

* Experience in forward planning and forecasting, ideally within Aviation

* Excellent communication skills – ability to influence and drive decision making

* Superior stakeholder management skills – ability to identify, build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
