Excel have an excellent opportunity for Lead Compliance Verification Engineers within aircraft interiors to join our well known client in a permanent position based in the EU. We are looking for experienced engineers with both hunger and determination to progress their career within a fantastic company, as the position of Lead CVE will progress into a Head of Airworthiness position. As Lead CVE, you will join the expanding Part21 team, not only will you perform day to day activities as set out in the DOA & customers, you will also perform team training and mentoring, documentation control and management of projects.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previously worked in a CVE position, good knowledge of Part21 regulations and hold a degree within an engineering based subject or equivalent academic qualification (although this is not essential. As a Lead CVE, you will be able to focus primarily on the interior design and modification element of the aircraft including emergency equipment layout and LOPA’s (location of passenger accommodation), however you will also be able to work on the exterior paint and decal design. As this position has large elements of management, the most important skills for the position are communication and support you can offer to the existing team.
