The Lead Cognitive Software Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, design, development, integration and test of mission software systems, particularly for cognitive and adaptive control software.
The Lead Cognitive Software Engineer must perform system-level design activities, including requirements allocation, interface definition, system and subsystem integration, technical risk assessments, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses of total systems throughout the system lifecycle. Required to lead and mentor multi-disciplined engineering teams in the development and delivery of technical offerings; your team will be implementing mature engineering processes in line with current technology best-practices, including agile software development. Must be self-motivated, able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess excellent organizational, communications, and presentation skills; we are seeking a highly motivated self-starter to help grow our business.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have a MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 10 years of related experience in software design, development, integration and test. Experience supporting the development of innovative signal processing algorithms for machine learning related to cyber defense or offense and/or electromagnetic technologies is required. Experience with general digital and RF test equipment such as logic, network and spectrum analyzers is required. Experience with user interface design and Android application development is highly desired.

* Bayesian theory
* Optimization in stochastic conditions
* ELINT/EW Receiver and Direction Finding subsystems
Preferred Engineering Experience:
* CMMI 3/5 processes and procedures
* Digital Signal Processing

Current SECRET clearance required. Active TS/SCI clearance is highly desired. Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance is required.
