Purpose

Note: for the purposes of this document, ‘CX’ A/C or fleet may extend to KA or AHK on individual project basis.

* Evaluating; costing and project managing the on time introduction of new cabin equipment to the CX fleet. To ensure that such equipment meets HKG regulatory requirements and CX specifications and ensure that CX Product and design requirements are able to translate into feasible, technical terms.

* Support costing; man hour and A/C input time estimates; deliver cost and TRT improvements through knowledge and experience gained.

* Support supplier selection process and contract negotiations to the best interests of CX and manage suppliers to deliver to CX programme schedule.

Key Responsibilities

* Project managing and overseeing cabin programmes to ensure the quality of work and project delivery meets CX requirements.

* Delivering assigned Technical Services functions in support of cabin programmes and cabin operations.

* Delivery of fleet projects and initiating improvements that improve safety, efficiency and cost.

* Building strong working relationships with cabin suppliers and MROs. Ensure cost effective on-site support for cabin programmes as required

* Support and drive cabin safety and reliability improvements through structured cross-functional engagement with key stakeholders (e.g. ISD; KA ISD). Manage assigned meetings as required.

Minimum Requirements / Experience

* Minimum 7.5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance. Relevant experience in cabin engineering.

* Degree in Engineering / Aerospace discipline.

* Proven experience in supervising and managing projects and cross functional teams

* Strong leadership skills. Proven ability to manage across departments; OEMs

* Strong in communication, influencing and negotiation skills
