Large Programs Project Manager

Position Description

The Program Manager is responsible for the successful industrialization of major programs per the contractual delivery date, within budget and per StandardAero - Cincinnati Component Services contractual quality standards.

Principal Responsibilities include:
Establishes detailed operational objectives and action plans to meet project performance goals.
•Manages resources to meet operational objectives.
•Establishes program plans and milestones and monitors adherence to program master plans and schedules.
•Develops control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensures the meeting of Company’s contract commitments.
•Implements project work breakdown structure and coordinates technical activities of project.
•Makes timely decisions, carries out actions and direct others in matters related to the duties and goals of Program Management.
•Works across boundaries and orchestrates actions by directing the performance of program teams and functional task elements such as production, procurement, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.
•Effectively acts as customer contact on status and performance and anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
•Accountable to provide satisfactory reasons for significant deviations from duties or expected results.
* Other duties as assigned

Carries out special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree
•Minimum three years of Project Management experience is required.
•Strong financial acumen; prior experience with budgets and other financial statements is required.
•Must be able to demonstrate team leadership skills; ability to lead teams in a matrix environment (without direct reporting responsibility).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills; exceptional presentation skills are required.
•Strong customer interface experience is required.
•Risk management experience is required.
•Must be self motivated with the ability to motivate others.
•Knowledgeable in MS Project, PowerPoint., Microsoft Project. Advanced capability preferred.
•Program Management Certification preferred.
•Must be knowledgeable in Earned Value Accounting.
* Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
