Junior Fraud Analyst
Online Fraud Reviewer
On a day-to-day basis our new Online Fraud Reviewer will investigate bookings and maintain a record of the actions taken on each booking. You will undertake proactive analysis of transactional and customer records and minimize fraud loss and chargeback rates through the prevention, detection and investigation of fraudulent or suspected transactions and accounts.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, who can communicate effectively to raise awareness of any suspicious bookings. You review the current settings and your input enables maximum commercial ability whilst preventing fraud loss. Participation in 24/7 shift schedule is a requirement and it may help to have a background in e-commerce or online travel. More important is attitude, learning agility and a getting-things-done mentality.
What you bring to the table
* Fluent in English
* Bachelor or Master level in Criminology, Economics or another relevant study
* Ideally a background of having worked within a fraud team, industry experience within Online Travel and knowledge of Amadeus reservation systems is preferred but not necessary. Experience with credit card processing is helpful.
* Detail-oriented, able to quickly spot slight differences between multiple similar bookings
* Ability to learn quickly, adapt to often-changing processes and make decisions quickly and accurately
* Excellent phone and e-mail communication skills
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines
