Task Responsibilities:

•  Produce optimized computerized flight plans

• Brief flight crews on all operational matters in order to allow them to conduct safe and efficient flight operations

• Calculate aircraft performance

• Provide authorities and air traffic control agencies with the most up to date ATC flight plans

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and operational procedure during the flight planning in accordance with national and international applicable legislation

• Maintain up to date awareness of the weather forecast and the serviceability of essential en-route and terminal facilities

• Maintain continuous communications watch 24/7

• Perform extra operational or administrative tasks assigned in order to have the most optimum working environment

Essential Requirements :

• Education: BAC Level

• At least 5 years relevant aviation experience in Flight Operations preferably related to worldwide flight operations

• Flight Dispatcher Certificate or equivalent

• Ability to interpret weather and NOTAM information as well as airport/airspace NAV charts, familiarity with aircraft performance

• Be computer literate: experience in use of dispatch related software - flight planning systems, Lido/Flight ,Sabre, WSI systems, SITA/AFTN communications and good knowledge of MS Office applications, WSI systems,

• Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages will be an advantage

• Ability to work in a team

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work flexible, rotating schedule including nights and weekends 24/7
• Position based in Luxembourg
• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
