Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Junior Aerospace Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will perform work with various aspects of command and control (C2) related to Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) including command messaging, microcontroller integration, aerospace platform coordinate manipulation, and related topics.
The work will be performed in an office environment as well as a dynamics lab environment. Work will be with dynamic, high-paced customers. A desire to take on challenging engineering problems is essential.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited school with a Minimum GPA>3.4. Candidates with 0-3 years of experience will be considered for this position.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama area.
Other Qualifications
Experience with the following is preferable:
· Intern or Co-op job experience is a plus.
· A desire to learn new topics and add new skillsets is necessary.
· A desire to work in a dynamic environment with high paced customers and challenging engineering problems is essential to success.
Security Requirements
* Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
