B1 or B2+A B737 Type Rated (Classic) licensed Engineer required to support the horse transport operation as a flying Spanner. Provide Engineering support to the Jannah Operation to the required standard and within all SOP’s ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Be available to operate with the Janah Operation for all scheduled livestock flights.
• Be an effective part of the Janah Operation working as an integral part of the cabin team
• Provide all engineering support for the West Atlantic Jannah contract
• Monitor and control aircraft defects to ensure aircraft availability to fulfil the contracted horse flying
• During all maintenance activities always report discovered malfunctions/remarks/observations according to established procedures and forms.
• Arrange external maintenance support as required to support defect rectification
• Ensure the a/c internal and external areas are clean to a high standard
• Liaise with the West Atlantic  UK Part M Planning Department to ensure all planned maintenance is completed on time
• Report all defects through the cloud based status reporting system
• Liaise with Line Maintenance Control regarding defect rectification
• Act as technical representative on base check inputs
• Must have P145 approval

Academic/Educational Requirements

• Valid B1 or B2+A B737 Type Rated (Classic) Licence

Required Skills/Experience:

• Airside Driving License desirable or ability to hold Airside Driving Licence
• Must be Proactive, self-motivated & confident self-starter
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Possess confident and effective communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Ability to make good judgements based on the needs of the company operation, in a very fluid, fast changing environment.
• Proven problem solving and Planning & Organising skills

Salary & Terms

Basic £36,861

Shift allowance £6,415

B737 Type Rating Allowance

When the Janah Operation is not active you will be required to take leave and/or perform other duties commensurate with your skills and experience within a 40 hour week normally Monday to Friday.
