Precision Castparts Corp (PCC), is a worldwide manufacturer of complex metal components and products providing high quality investment castings, forgings, and fastener/fastener systems for critical aerospace and power generation applications.
Summary
The IT Services Tech is the central point of contact providing frontline IT support services for PCC Special Metals. Emphasizing on customer service, this position primarily focuses on desktop, network and application support while administering user accounts and system access.
Essential Functions
*
Promptly respond to and document all IT related incidents and assigned tasks.
*
Facilitates incident resolution, escalating or engaging teams as necessary.
*
Installs workstations, software, and peripheral equipment
*
Adheres to IT policies, procedures, and standards.
*
Builds relationships with users to understand the environment (hardware, software, etc.).
*
Maintains effective departmental and organizational communications.
*
Prioritize work based on severity, impact, and urgency.
*
Performs duties as assigned

Provision of ‘out of hours’ support when required
