Internal Auditor Flight Operations

Statement of the job:

Conduct audits of the Flight Operations department and Aircraft to ensure compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Company Procedures.

Responsibilities:

* Comply with the audit requirements of the Company Operational Audit Manual;

* Carry out audits in a timely manner as outlined in the audit schedule;

* Create Non-Conformances when the Operation is non compliant with the Canadian Aviation REgulations and/or Company Procedures;

* Follow up on any Non-Conformances as required to test the effectiveness of the corrective action plans;

* Make recommendations to the Manager of Quality Assurance for the improvement of the audit checklist and/or the Quality System;

* Provide assistance and coaching on root cause analysis and corrective action plan development for department managers that require it;

* Provide feedback and briefings to the Director of Flight Operations on the status of audits and non-conformances.

Qualifications:

* Aviation College or equivalent

* University degree is preferred

* Must have a minimumof 5 years experience in the industry

* Working experience as a Pilot

* Flight Operations Auditor experience is an asset.
