Intern UXUI Designer

Description

Reporting to the Manager, SharePoint platform in the IT department, the UX/UI Designer Intern will contribute to a variety of web-based projects, with web design, and usability/ user experience. This is a great opportunity for a young graduate with a keen eye for design and a passion for a quality user experience to practice web design in a highly professional working environment.

Responsibilities

Help design web-based interfaces, public website, intranet, extranet considering all aspects of the user experience;
Analyze user interface problems and create on-brand design solutions according to IATA design brand guidelines;
Design smaller and larger web artwork (banners, infographics, forms, maps);
Work with graphic designers to create consistent user interface across the web systems around design interface elements like buttons, drop-down lists, navigation components, user response messages and progress bars, etc.;
Create wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas;
Contribute to updating the design/visual guidelines and best practices in cooperation with the design team;
Conduct user tests with focus on usability.

Qualifications and Skills

University degree in any professional services related field within one year of graduation;
Knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, and Bootstrap or equivalent framework;
Good Photoshop skills.;
Strong creative abilities;
Good understanding of usability and responsive design best practices;
Experience with SharePoint is an asset;
Good interpersonal skills.
