Intern Safety and Flight Operations

Description

The Intern will help, support, assist and report to the Assistant Director, SESAR in the Safety and Flight Operations (SFO) Department of Europe, the incumbent will be assist for infrastructure activities in the European Region with a focus on the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR). The incumbent will also be help for developing IATA studies, cost model, planning and SES documents, in close cooperation with all SFO Team members, relating to SES and SESAR ATM items.

Responsibilities

He or she should be able to work under pressure and willing to learn every day. He/she will participate and organize diverse meetings and draft reports. He/she should be able to make own statistics and reviews of IATA materials, as well as crosschecking of cost-benefit analyses (CBA). Daily communication (telephone and e-mail) with relevant industry stakeholders, wich as Eurocontrol and SJU colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills

Student of BA in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering or any another aviation-related technical diploma.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential; fluency in other European languages would be an asset.

Solid IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Office Package (Power Point, Word, Excel etc.).
