We are looking for highly motivated professional to become part of the Bombardier Customer Training Team supporting the world’s best business pilot training at the Montreal Training Center. This is for a full-time position that does not require any travel out of city or country.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing ground school and FTD instruction to Bombardier Business Aircraft Pilots in the operation of one the Bombardier aircraft currently in production. Teaching is provided in the English language.
In your role, you will:
- Be responsible for delivering exceptional pilot ground school instruction in FAA, TC, EASA and ICAO certified pilot training programs;
- Executes all tasks and duties required to perform the duties of Ground School Instructor in accordance with safe practices, the Company’s policy and good judgment;
- Maintains currency on regulatory issues.
- Participates in department standardization meetings, provide subject matter expertise for the development and updating of pilot training ground school programs;
- Assist the Chief Instructor with the certification of training courses and devices and satisfactorily complete additional assigned duties;
- Markets and attracts customers through specific company directed programs.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a Pilot License or certificate (private, commercial, or ATP – aviation medical not required) OR Flight engineer license OR Aviation maintenance Technician (AMT) title.
- You have three (3) years of experience in Flight Operations or Flight Department or Aviation Maintenance Department;
- Business aircraft related experience preferred;
- You have one (1) year of classroom instructor experience teaching Bombardier aircraft preferred;
- You are able to attain an FAA Part 142 ground school instructor certification within six months;
- You have significant experience in developing and delivering pilot training.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English language (French would be an asset);
- You have experience with computers and information systems (computer literacy a must);
- You have experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware an asset.
