Conduct inspections of product (machined parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, instruments, etc.) to ensure compliance to design data. Document acceptable and noncompliant conditions. Interact with Machine Shop and Operations areas about inspection results.
Validate the acceptability of product.
Complete quality records.
Must adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) standards and attend required training courses related to EH & S

High School Diploma or equivalent
*Experience / Qualifications
Preferred inspection or machining experience.
On-site training for qualified applicants with machining experience is available.
2nd shift (Mon- Thursday) 4:20pm - 2:50am
Qualifications Occasionally have to lift up to 40 pounds.
Knowledge of inspection methods (layout, CMM, etc) and be proficient in performing all required gaging and visual inspections would be a plus.
Knowledge and capability of interpreting engineering drawings as well as applicable specifications.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook), preferred
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) and work in a team environment.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is beneficial.
