Inspector Direct

Position Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for hydrostatic pressure testing of product to ensure customer’s drawing and specification requirements are met and perform electrical, mechanical, and visual inspection of electrical connectors and cables at various stages of completion.

Major Duties
1) Perform hydro testing of cable assemblies and connectors
2) Generates and maintains test records
3) Performs in-process inspection and testing of products
4) Collecting data on electrical and mechanical inspections
5) Interface with Quality Engineering for technical support

Position Requirements:

1) Ability to think and write clearly and logically
2) Able to read and understand drawings as well as department procedures
3) Knowledge of fixtures, pressure tank setup, pressure gages and overhead crane operations, and high pressures of hydro testing

Physical Requirements:
1) Lifting of electrical cables of approx. 25 lbs
2) High attention to detail and accuracy of work

1) Must comply with all requirements regarding safe procedures and safety equipment.
