Job Description

MAG Aerospace is seeking a Pilot In Command that will be responsible for conducting routine flight operations as a Pilot in Command on a DHC-8. Pilots shall ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. This will include the identification of aircraft maintenance faults and corrective actions. All safety of flight documentation shall be completed and documented in accordance with applicable industry and published standards. Responsibilities include: pre-flight planning and aircraft pre-flight check. Pilot will put special emphasize on crew member’s safety and government relations. Pilots shall monitor airspace, weather, radio communications, mission flight boundaries, other air traffic, and aircraft systems. Pilots shall coordinate all flights with the appropriate Fixed Base Operators, military range control, Air Traffic Control (ATC) facilities (military and civilian), Pilot will operate military turbo-prop aircraft in accordance with AR 95-20 regulations, and program policies and procedures. Pilot will fly day and night, under VMC/IMC; required to maintain night currency and instrument proficiency. Performs routine OCONUS travel and within CONUS travel as required. Position requires a U.S. Department of State Secret Clearance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

* 2,500 total fixed wing flight hours including 1000 hours of turbine engine time, and 250 hours pilot in command.

* Unrestricted type rating.

* Position requires a U.S. Department of State Secret Clearance.

* High school diploma or GED.

* FAA Commercial and Instrument Airmans Certificate Airplane MEL.

* FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

* Current FAA Class II Medical certificate.

* Successful completion of FAA Type Rating Course in the selected type required before assignment.

PREFERRED:
Prior Pilot in the US Military and/or support on the DoS INL/A program. FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).
