Overview
Provide project management and end user and technical documentation support for IT infrastructure projects. Responsible for coordinating all activities related to a project and be the focal point for all communications, status, and schedules for multiple concurrent IT projects.
Responsibilities
* Develops, executes, coordinates and monitors overall project plans (in MS Project/MS Project Server), tasks, and milestones.
* Facilitate cross-functional activities with other IT groups and business units to ensure successful implementation and support
* Implements management processes to identify, report, and monitor project issues and risks.
* Track project resources and financials
* Manage and coordinate work with different teams
* Provides project status updates to IT Management
* Performs requirements gathering and technical analysis as necessary
* Interfaces with internal customers and external vendors
* Build templates for technology standards and end user documentation
* Document technology standards and processes
* Develop and maintain end user documentation (quick reference guides, etc.) as needed
* Work closely with lnfrastructure Architecture and Operations teams
* Performs end user training as needed to support project initiative
Qualifications
* Must have 5+ years’ experience managing IT infrastructure (compute, storage, network) and integration technology projects in a fast paced, constantly changing dynamic environment
* Proven expertise in SDLC, change and project management methodologies, concepts, practices, procedures and standards
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage business partners and external vendors
* Prior experience documenting technology standards and experience working with IT Infrastructure Architecture and IT Operations areas is needed
* Requires advanced MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project Professional skills, and experience with MS Project Server (PWA) and SharePoint systems
* Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
* Strong IT background with aptitude in business and managing change
* Must be a self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and deal with many projects concurrently
* PMP certification highly desirable
