The Inflight Supervisor will support Inflight Management team and other departments as needed by collaborating to ensure the highest level of safety, efficiency, and overall success of the company. The Inflight Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring the overall performance of the flight attendants’ team, as well as provide guidance and leadership while supporting departmental goals.

Essential Functions

* Engages with each flight attendant to create a relationship of trust and respect, mentoring them to be a successful Inflight team member.

* Responsible for coaching and counseling behavior, performance and appearance issues with flight attendants.

* Responsible for attendance records, investigations, issuing discipline and appropriate disciplinary documents.

* Complete Flight Attendant Training Program and maintain Flight Attendant certification.

* Ensure compliance with all FAA regulatory requirements as well as CommutAir’s established policies and procedures.

* Observe and monitor daily flight operations to support corporate goals.

* Track, investigate and report Inflight Department delays daily, to management.

* Knowledge of Flight Attendant CBA and application of contract concepts.

* Provide recognition for flight attendants who demonstrate outstanding customer service and professional behavior.

* Maintain all crew areas, supplies and Flight Attendant files.

* Ability to sit, stand and move throughout the office/airport for extended periods of time.

* Work closely with the Inflight Manager to support objectives of the company and the Inflight Department.

* Perform additional duties as delegated by the Inflight Manager to achieve Company objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Location varies, Dulles, Virginia (IAD) and/or Newark, New Jersey (EWR).

* At least 2 years of experience as a Flight Attendant and 2-5 years of experience in a management role.

* Valid passport.

* Travel will be required.

* Must be able to adapt to various work schedules and times to support CommutAir’s operation.

* High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred.

* Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Word products and other technology packages.

* Enhances the department and organization by contributing positively to the organization’s reputation and success.

* Critical thinking and problem solving.

* Strong customer service skills and communication skills (oral and written).

* Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, handle multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
