Are you an animal lover with good customer service skills and looking for a weekend role?
A great opportunity has come up for a Customer Service Import Clerk based at Heathrow Airport.
The position is permanent and is 40 hours per week over 4 days. Weekends - Friday to Monday only. Mainly day shift but also one late shift. A degree of flexibility is required.
Our cargo client is looking for someone with primarily good customer service skills. Full training will be given for other aspects of this role.
THE ROLE
Dealing with customs clearance. 95% are pets.
Liaising with anxious pet owners face to face and by phone and email.
Liaising with government authorities including HMRC and airlines.
Dealing with paperwork for government authorities.
Collecting payments.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
Be friendly and approachable as well as confident.
Will be able to work on your own initiative.
Be an animal lover.
Have the ability to prioritise.
Be able to work as part of a team and also alone.
You will need to be computer literate (emails/Excel and Word).
Good spoken English is essential.
Need to be flexible.
Must have a responsible attitude.
Salary level £20,000 per annum.
