People Operations Manager - Temporary position

As the HR Operations Manager (internally People Operation Manager) you will be part of the Global People team and will be reporting to the Chief People Officer.

You will be leading the People Operations team (Direct line management for two colleagues in Amsterdam and dotted line responsibility for two colleagues located in Bangalore and Berlin). The People Operations team is the owner of all the HR Payroll and Onboarding processes ranging from payroll submissions, personnel data, new hires and exits, relocations & visa, managing employees’ benefits (from pensions to bike plans), filing of documentation and providing general support to the People team. In addition, we are looking for a creative colleague who has an eye for process improvement and would be capable to take on more Compensation and Benefits responsibilities, specifically experienced in the Hay methodology.

The role will focus on:

* Lead the People Operations to deliver a customer excellence service approach to all employees,

* Own the entire Payroll process for Travix Global (Netherlands, Belgium, UK, USA, Singapore, Spain and Australia),

* Process Improvement -identifying ways to simplify our People processes & improve the People Operations service.

* Hay levelling, as an ideal extra responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing and develop the People Operations team. Ensuring high level of support to employees

* Owning the payroll from A to Z and ensuring high quality of accuracy

* Ensuring People Operations processes are being followed so that our sources of information can be trusted by the business

* Managing and reporting on HR Data

* Lead on People Operation projects as identified

* Support and lead on the delivery of our People Operations plan 2019/2020, which is based on the following pillars: Increasing digital presence, global processes streamlined and improving efficiency, excellent employee experience.

What you bring to the table?

* 4 – 5 years of working experience in International Payroll & HRM, with a focus on Netherlands payroll,

* People Management experience

* Comp & Ben knowledge and proven experience

* Analytical skills,

* An eye for details and a pro-active problem solving mindset,

* Operational excellence & customer focused,

* a-Roll-up your-sleeves attitude,

* Team Player,

* Tech savy. Experience with Successfactors Employee Central is a plus,

* Fluent in English and ideally also Dutch
