Description

Reporting to the HR Director, Geneva & Business Engagement, the incumbent will work closely with senior leaders, managers and employees in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the organization - as specified below.

Responsibilities

* Understand business vision; ensure HR operations are aligned with business strategy & goals;
* Responsible for embedding the HR strategy in assigned business units in close coordination with relevant HR subject matter experts;
* Act as the HR business partner for some business units; build a strong and valuable business relationship with internal clients and manage requests and solutions with them;
* Act as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit;
* Coach, advise, guide and mentor internal customers as appropriate to influence organizational culture and performance; act as a change agent in alignment with the business & HR strategy;
* Provide guidance and proactive support to line managers with recruitment, induction, performance management, learning and development, talent review, succession planning, compensation, employee engagement;
* Deliver trainings to people managers on the following topics: recruitment, policies, performance and development;
* Advise and communicate on internal policies, processes and local labor law; resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances;
* Any other tasks as requested by the HR Director, Geneva & Business Engagement.

Qualifications and Skills

* University degree preferably in the field of human resources or business management;
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an HR function with strong focus on business partnering;
* Strong Business Acumen;
* Solutions oriented & “can-do” attitude;
* Capable to manage conflicting priorities and high stakeholder expectations;
* Exemplary communication and collaboration skills, and proven ability to build strong relationships and influence the organizational strategy;
* Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines, capacity to work under pressure;
* Fluent in English.
