Our client based at London Heathrow is seeking a Head of Production to join their organisation.

Key areas will include:

Hire, mentor and develop staff
Implement a customer focused operational culture to ensure world class customer service is delivered
Define and control the departments budget and be accountable for relevant targets
Develop and report on KPIs
Undertake appraisals and set SMART objectives for direct reports
Develop change management and promote innovation
Ensure good communication and coordination between all supporting functions to achieve organisations goals
Ensure full departmental adherence to ISO, Part 145, H&S and COMAH requirements
Manage and control labour and labour utilisation including overtime
Ensure all staff understand their responsibilities and adhere to regulatory policies, procedures and processes
Ensure quality is maintained to include where necessary the investigation, report and mitigation/resolution of issues to avoid reoccurrence
Manage the accurate and on-time introduction of new products and ensure production is able to manage new products safely and efficiently
Develop continuous improvement by coordinating teams to optimise cost performance and minimise waste

Knowledge and Experience:

Degree educated, ideally in aviation based subject. Project Management training. Leadership and Management training.
Proven five years minimum experience at senior management level experience within an airline, MRO or OEM environment. Experience of EASA 2IJ/2IG/145 and Part M regulations.
Proven knowledge of ERP solutions such as SAP. Excellent IT skills
