JOB SUMMARY
 
Reporting to the Vice President Global Lounges the Global Lounge Bid & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and producing exceptional, high quality bid submissions on behalf of the Airport Lounge business. Further, there will be a B2B marketing aspect to the role in terms of ensuring the brand is well represented with every communication with landlords, potential landlords and business partners. Further work will be undertaken to ensure consistency within the lounges that we currently operate around the globe. The role will be wholly accountable for bringing together cutting edge, best in class bids for sometimes time pressured, complex bids.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Identify and garner opportunities, building relationships with airport authorities around the globe in order to communicate our product, its benefits and working towards the goal of securing the space for our lounges. 
  • Creation and production of comprehensive sales documentation to support bids. 
  • Work with wider team to coordinate, draft, write and ultimately own our tender responses. 
  • Gather information from the wider business to ensure tender response content is always up-to-date, delivering in a fashion that enables us to be remembered and first recall.
  •  Maintain an overview of market intelligence, spot trends and play an active role in shaping future business to meet demands of future opportunities.  
  • Produce a bid strategy and aim for upwards of +60% conversion rates. 
  • Own and produce the finished article, ensuring that the quality of response is best in class. 
  • Play a role in advising on systems and tools in order to improve service line productivity, strip away waste and make the business a lean, smooth organisation. 
  • Employ methods to increase brand equity to both B2C and B2B markets. Co-ordinate delivery of best-in-class tender responses.  
  • Deliver set of standards and practices which can be delivered globally to ensure consistent, branded experiences and standards.  
  • In conjunction with the Vice President Global Lounges, produce 5 year plan and roadmap in order to ensure product line maintains relevant and is positioned correctly to deliver against goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
 
  • Self-motivated character who thrives on standards and success.
  • Leadership experience in a multi-cultural, international business environment.  
  • Proven track record of winning bid management bid process and the ability to interpret business needs that drive success. 
  • Experience of using Adobe creative suite or other suitably impressive systems in order to deliver exceptional quality bids 
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience within multifaceted industry that has the demands of both B2B & B2C marketing methods.  Diverse proven track record essential. 
  • Strong analytical implementation and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent commercial acumen with ability to negotiate and influence customers, partners along with other stakeholders. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Willingness to travel.
