* HW Design Examples:
* Electronic Circuit Design
* RF Design
* Power/Cooling Monitor and Control
* Interface Panel Layouts and Interconnections
* Console Design
* SW Design Examples:
* Process Automation
* Instrument Drivers and Utilities
* UI/UX Design
* Real Time, Pre and Post Processing Data Analytics
* Firmware Design for simulation and control
* SW/HW integration
* Requirements verification
* Actively support the investigation, resolution and documentation of product anomalies
* Understanding Design to Cost
This position is a Sr. Principal position. Candidates will be considered per the requirements listed below.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
*
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related STEM discipline
*
9 years w/ Bachelors, 7 years w/ Masters, 4 years w/ PhD
*
Experience in hardware & software design
*
Experience reading & interpreting schematics
*
Experience with lab test equipment (such as DMM and O-Scopes)
*
Experience with software development
*
Experience with HW/SW integration
*
Effective verbal and written communication
*
Secret Clearance required prior to start
Preferred Qualifications:
*
Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
*
Minimum of 5 years experience in hardware & software design
*
Experience with schematic design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Zukenetc.)
*
Experience with hands-on troubleshooting with electrical hardware
*
Experience with C/C++, LabWindows CVI is a plus
*
Experience with RF test & measurement equipment (such as Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyer, Network Analyzer)
*
Technical Lead experience
*
Experience supporting a production environment
*
Active TS/SCI clearance
