Due to continued growth within the company, Radiola Aerospace Europe Ltd has a career opportunity for a Support Engineer and Flight Inspector.

 

Flight Inspection is the process of airborne testing of ground based navigation facilities using advanced airborne test equipment.

 

After completion of extensive training, the successful applicant can expect a competitive salary package, worldwide travel, and the opportunity to work in small teams calibrating navigation aids used by aircraft from the Caribbean to Afghanistan and everywhere in between.  Candidates will have a sound understanding of electronic engineering, as well as a keen interest in aviation preferably with some operational knowledge. In the fast-moving world of aviation, candidates will need to be adaptable to change, and able to solve problems on the go.  Extensive international travel will be required often to demanding locations at short notice.

Requirements:

• Willingness and ability to travel to all parts of the world including hostile environments
• Demonstrated work experience in the aviation sector
• Proven ability to work in the airborne environment
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including written and spoken English
• Cultural awareness
• Personal and professional organisation skills
• The right to work in the United Kingdom
• Will be based in the Nottinghamshire area

 

Preferences:

• Operational and/or engineering aviation knowledge and experience
• Experience in Aviation/Avionic engineering
• PPL/CPL or flight experience
• Degree in Avionic/Aviation engineering
