Based at East Midlands Airport and reporting to the Back of House Training Supervisors, the Ground Operations Trainer - Dispatch will be responsible for providing classroom and practical training, support and coaching to colleagues in order to ensure they are working and operating in accordance with our safety culture and brand philosophy.
You will identify and analyse individual training and development needs, making recommendations in line with the Leadership Framework. You will be responsible for the delivery of coaching and support for all Dispatch Teams, ensuring training is tailored to individual requirements and in line with our Safety First culture. As part of the Training Team, you will be responsible for the design and development of initial and recurrent training for all Dispatch Teams to support them to achieve the highest performance standards. Another key aspect of the role is to ensure that compliance, statutory and regulatory training requirements are met.
The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours. You will also have some experience of coaching and or training delivery, either on an individual basis or in a class room environment. As a subject matter expert within Dispatch, you will be able to share your knowledge as well as be able to engage and influence others. You will be passionate about training and developing others and be able to engage with the Dispatch Teams. Previous experience in Dispatching aircraft is essential. With excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, you will posses excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong Team focus.
