Ground Operations Supervisor CDG

Mission

The Ground Operations Supervisor is responsible to assist and support the (Regional) Station Manager (and his/her Deputy) in assuring best in class customer service on the ground by being his/her eyes on the floor in the daily operation at one or more of Brussels Airlines’ stations ensuring a safe, secure and punctual operation.

Tasks

Key result area 1:

To assist in the overall supervision and organization of the operations flow at the airport and be the direct communication link with the Local Handling Agent(s), the local (Regional) Station Manager, Deputy (Regional) Station Manager and GCC/OCC in BRU, in order to allow efficient and correct exchange of information, assuring a smooth operation at the station.

Key result area 2:

Supervise Brussels Airlines’ subcontracted ground handling, Ticketing and the Cargo handling in order to coordinate the activities in an efficient way and be in line with the set Service Level agreements and quality targets.

Key result area 3:

Where applicable, supervise & coordinate Pre-Check-in ensuring a quality service delivery. Regularly question & review processes in order to improve overall customer satisfaction.

Key result area 4:

Supervise and assure the application of Brussels Airlines’ products, processes and procedural requirements on the stations. Report on occurrences and issues keep trace allowing a proper follow-up in close collaboration with the (Regional) Station Manager.

Key result area 5:

Brief and update the handling and other ground service suppliers in order to enable them to apply Brussels Airlines’ processes, procedures and product in the respective stations.

Key result area 6:

Act as a trouble-shooter and be the technical all-rounder in order to solve possible operational problems in an effective and client-oriented way.

Key result area 7:

Formulate improvements towards the operations process flows at the airport requiring pro-active and innovative input in order to smoothen the passengers’ passage.

Profile

* Secondary school diploma or equivalent through experience.

* 1 to 2 years of general experience in airline or airport operations

* Background of check-in and/or ticketing supervision is an asset

* Experience in multicultural environments

* Profound and in debt knowledge of DCS

* Profound knowledge and working experience of handling processes

* Profound and in debt knowledge of working procedures at airport

* Fluent in English & Local language. Other languages are an asset
