TAG Aviation currently has a vacancy for a Ground Operations Assistant.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Assisting the Dispatchers, Duty Officers, Senior Duty Officers and Team Leaders in the planning of services for private and commercial operations. Includes organising and arranging necessary documentation and services, effective communication with crew and other departments and monitoring compliance with regulatory and Company operational standards. The ultimate aim of this position is to progress the individual, through professional training courses and on the job training, to the level of Dispatcher. The successful candidate will work on a rotation basis including weekends and Bank Holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Setting up handling services for owner and charter flights.
- Arranging slots, fuel, crew hotel and transport.
- Arranging out of hours airline travel and hotels for positioning crews.
- Using Flight Operation System (FOS) to update the daily and future flying schedule.
- Communicating with crew and other departments in an informative and professional manner.
- Ensuring Company SOP compliance and safety.
- General Ground Operations administrative duties
