About the role:
Our Client is one of the main players in the ‘Into Plane’ fuelling arena. They now seek a General Manager to take responsibility for the day-day management of the operations. Reporting to the Board of Directors and working to established health, safety, environmental & quality procedures, you will manage the business utilising a fleet of hydrant & bowser dispenser vehicles. You will take control of the budget, maintain and develop relationships with key external stakeholders and ensure the scheduling of both manpower and vehicles to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
About you:
You will have proven man management and operational experience, preferably within a related industrial sector such as Aviation or Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbons / Chemicals, Logistics & Distribution, etc. However we would be willing to consider applications from other sectors. Demonstrating excellent organisational skills and the interpersonal skills to liaise equally with the Board and all other levels in the Company, you will be able to manage budgets & scheduling.
You may have experience of the following: Hydrocarbons; Process Engineering, Transport & Transportation, Air, Aviation, Fuel, Oil, Gas, Crude, LNG, LPG, Distillates, Chemicals, Shipping, Vessels, Jet, Pipelines, Integrity Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Scheduling, Operations Manager, General Manager, Fleet Management, Logistics Manager, Transport Manager, etc.
